December 8th Christmas Concert Rome Art and Community Center (RACC)

Mohawk Valley Bluegrass Association Community Band will be giving a Christmas Concert of Holiday and Bluegrass music. Show starts at 6:30. This will be a part of our regular concert series and will NOT include a jam session. Come on out and hear some Bluegrass Christmas classics - and enjoy the Christmas decorations at the Rome Art and Community Center - some of the best around.

Whats Ahead for next year???
In 2026 we will continue our “Jam with the Band” sessions on the 2nd Monday of the month at the Rome Art and Community Center – but we will change the focus of the evening to the concert portion with a longer concert by our guest band, followed by the jam session.    As many have asked for an earlier start the concerts will now start at 6:30 PM.   We will continue to host our member bands.  Next up we will be welcoming the "Family Band" on January 12th.

Our 3rd Saturday Jam sessions will continue as well on the 3rd Saturday of the month at either the Rome Art and Community Center or the Steuben Town Hall.   We may try another venue as well to mix it up a bit.   We will not be holding a December Jam this year - next up January 17th at the Carriage House located at the Rome Art and Community Center.    

 

The Board is considering a weeknight jam once a month - stay tuned for details.
