The Mohawk Valley Bluegrass Association and Craobh Dugan O’Looney have partnered to present a unique free concert experience featuring traditional musician Tim Ball.
The event will be held on Saturday, November 18th
at the State Bridge Collective, located at the corner
of Routes 31 and 46 in Durhamville.
Tim will present a free concert featuring selections from his recently released CD – “Upstate Crossroads” at 2:30 PM, followed by a jam session where he will be joined by local musicians from both organizations. He will be joined by Helen Kuhar, and well known

In Addition, Tim will be leading a workshop for local traditional musicians from 12:30pm to 1:30pm teaching a few tunes from the CD. The workshop is open to musicians who play traditional acoustic instruments in the Celtic or Bluegrass format. Cost of the workshop is $20 and pre-registration is required – email Bill Fahy at mvbga2002@gmail.com to reserve a spot as the workshop is limited to 15 musicians. It is recommended for intermediate or more advanced players.

There will be no Jam with the Band in November. The next one will be December 11th at 7pm at the Rome Arts and Community Center featuring Two Friends (they are also members of the MVBGA community band)
